We collect only the information needed to provide pet care services and respond to inquiries:

• Contact information — name, email address, and phone number you submit through our contact form, in person, or by calling/texting us.
• Pet information — breed, age, behavior, dietary needs, medical conditions, vet contact, and other details you provide so we can care for your pet safely.
• Service records — dates of service, services provided, photos taken during visits or stays, and notes related to your pet's care.
• Communication records — records of messages, calls, and texts between you and MilouPaw, including consent timestamps and consent text version.
• Technical information — IP address and basic device data when you submit the contact form (used for spam and rate-limit protection). Our self-hosted Umami analytics collects anonymized page views with no cookies and no third-party data sharing.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and provide pet care services.
• To send you appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, photos of your pet, invoices, and other service-related communications.
• To contact you via SMS text message, phone call, or email about your booking, service updates, or follow-up — only when you have given us explicit consent on the contact form.
• To occasionally share helpful pet care tips or notify you of availability — only with your consent, and you may opt out at any time.
• To improve our services and the security of this website.

4. SMS, Phone Call, and Email Consent

By checking the consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive recurring marketing and informational communications from MilouPaw Pet Care at the phone number and email address you provided, including via SMS text messages, phone calls (which may be pre-recorded or autodialed), and email. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking unsubscribe in any email, or by emailing us at sunny@miloupaw.com. Transactional messages directly related to your booking may still be sent.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only:

• With our SMS/email service providers solely to deliver messages you have consented to.
• With your veterinarian or an emergency vet, only if your pet requires medical care during a service.
• When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of pets, people, or property.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact and pet records for as long as you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterward to honor legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Consent records (including IP address, timestamp, and the exact disclosure text shown to you) are kept as required by carrier and CTIA / A2P 10DLC compliance rules.

7. Security

Your information is stored on secured servers with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+). Access is limited to MilouPaw personnel who need it to provide services. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect what you share with us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what we collect and the right to request deletion. 9. Children

MilouPaw services and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be communicated to active customers.
